A large part of this blog is about trying new things and creating things that make me happy. Its really been an amazing journey so far… just living in a creative space.
A few years ago I was trolling Mod Cloth and became obsessed with these Animal Butt Magnets… Why, I have no clue. Its not like I used magnets for anything anyway! I realized that I could probably just do it my freaking self. And so I did. And they made me happy. Its always hilarious when people come over and see them. A lot of times they do a double take, not expecting butts.

Animal Butt DIY Magnets
What You Need:
1 Safari LTD Wild TOOB
24 1/2 inch round magnets
1 Medium or heavy duty X-acto knife – I only had a lightweight one and had to change the blade twice
Metalic Gold acrylic paint (and brush) or spray paint
Hot Glue gun (and glue sticks)
Start by cutting your plastic animals in half.
Once you have sufficiently massacred your animals, its time to get painting. If you’re using spray paint, make sure you’re in a well ventillated area.
You’re probably going to need a few coats to make sure it all gets covered. Not to mention dry time, so now is probably the time to start up a movie or do another project in between… or contemplate life. You know, adult things.
Golder than Jill Masterson? (James Bond? Goldfinger? Crickets? Moving on…) You’re almost done!
Heat up your hot glue gun and get going. Glue your round magnets to the bottom of your butts and you’re ready to enjoy!
These Animal Butt DIY Magnets make fun hostess gifts, easter basket, and stocking stuffers for the discerning yet quirky individual.
